The landscape of some 514,000 sq. km varies from the busy concrete jungles of Bangkok to much quieter rural and serene river and jungle settings of Kanchanaburi in the west and Chiang Rai the most northerly part of Thailand to beaches and islands in the east towards Cambodia or down to the larger islands of the very south.

Every year more and more Australians are discovering the magical wonderful mysteries of the Thailand fascination and its incredibly rich history. It even has its own form of Switzerland in the north of the country in an area with its tallest mountain known as 'Doi Inthanon' reaching a height of 2,576 m. The flora and fauna on this mountain are often unique to it and very beautiful.

Thailand is the cosmopolitan country of destination in South East Asia with millions of tourists from all over the world every year either visiting for the first time or revisiting again and again.
